This very luxury finish allows to mix the benefits of the framed and mounted on aluminum finish. Your print mounted on a composite sheet (Alu-dibond) is put into a dark wooded lacquered box.
Slightly in retreat, your print is more protected while avoiding the reflects due to the glass. The effect is striking, your print seems to be floating in the middle of its framed.

MODERN MOUNTING IN ALUMINUM, SUITED TO LARGE FORMAT WORKS

The print is mounted on a composite sheet (dibond). This material is composed of two layers of aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. Aluminium dibond is renowned for its lightness. It allows large prints to be maintained perfectly flat over the years.
It is particularly suited for large prints and is favoured by artists for their exhibitions. Among the various bonding materials (foam, PVC), aluminum has by far the best rigidity to weight ratio. Mounting on aluminum gives a great present to the artwork, without frills and the glare of gass. The prints are supplied with a mounting system allowing a rapid hanging on your wall. Lightfastness depends heavily on exposure conditions and /or storage. However, manufacturers estimate 70 years for color prints and up to 100 years for black and white prints.
